 Subject: WRECK! How did my Dak Fare? VRS 2 cars

Well.....
It was 6:45 am in Jacksonville FL, and i was on my way to class. I pulled out of my place and proceeded to get into the turn lane at the next intersection when all of a sudden i had to come to a quick stop. I was coming to a stop when all of a sudden BAM!!!!, i was HIT (25-35mph)from behind by a 2002 Honda Civic(which was driven by a very hot girl) which by that impact it forced me into a Chevy Cavalier infront of me. I got out and looked behind at my truck and the girls car was underneath my DAK! and then took a look at the front and my bumper was kinda bent downwards and the chevy was imploded in the back. The Honda was totaled by this accident.
My truck injuries consist of....
New front and rear bumper assiblies
New Front engine bay raditor.
New Stainless dual tips
Honda Civic injuries consist of.....
Everything in the front.
Chevy Caviler injuries consist of....
Everything in the rear....
I was not bucked in at the time and now I have sharp pains in my back and neck. I will be going to the doctor soon to get it checked out.
word from the wise(or stupid)......

Isnt it funny that our daks hardly get any damage and other cars just die when they hit us, hell I ran into the back or a c10 not to long ago and got him real good,he had a roll pan, all that happend to my kota was a small knick on the bumper and a cracked grill.

Hope you turn out find sic, I had pain in the neck after my wreck, and 6 years later still have problems. GET IT LOOKED AT. To bad your radiator got squished, but other then that, sounds like it did good. Did your air bags not go off??? Seems to me if it got your radiator, it should have blown the bags.
P.S. Get a copy of the police report, it will have the hot girls phone # on it. Call and make sure shes ok ;) Thats if your not taken yourself. :D

That is a good idea Dale, see how she is doing. About the air bags, I bet they didnt go off, i hit at like 25-30mph and nothing, and a long time ago, I hit a tellaphone pole in a rustang and the bags deployed after i hit it.

well....
went to the ER and got checked out, they told
me it was typical pains that i was feelin and
gave me some pain killers "woo hoo". The only bad thing is, i think they are going to put me out of commsion for a couple days. As for my truck, I am going to go tomarow (hopefully) and get it checked out. My raditor only got smushed a little, no leaks in it tho. NO air bags at all in the honda either. Smashed up my tips tho, i think its chokin my dak that way cause they are jamed up inbetween my bumper

heh where do I begin: Rear ended an Accord at the end of July at about 35MPH. The back of the stripper's accord was totaled, my air bags, radiator, hood and bumper and one fog light was wrecked. My Diamond clears and headlights weren't wrecked. Now that may sound all good, but today is September 24 and they are just planning on getting my truck back by Friday! The reason it took so long? They were waiting on Chrysler rivets so my VIN could be transferred to the new dash. Bah! I live for the Marines on November 23 and only have 2 months left till I lose my truck for 3 months. Theres so much I need to do to it and since the accident, my girl left me but is now with my best friend, but she loves my truck and can't wait for it to comeback. She also says that the passenger side is still hers, heh (ya know why). I told her that if its half hers, then I am going to lease it to another girl since she can't lay claim to it right now. So of course her response is no girl can love your truck like me. What do you think of this entire situation? (wrecked truck and girl and Marines)

yeah the bumpers on dakotas are very durable. i was pulling my truck in the garage one night and i accidentaly nailed the wall. the bumper is fine but the wall was caved in very far. nothing 5 days worth of spackaling couldnt fix, lol

lol, looking at the pig report, it says i only have 500.00 worth of damage. I guess he thought my bumpers where fine as well as the radiator. Or knew that i could get the parts and put them on my self.

Don't believe the Police Report Sic! The cop at my accident (the other guy drove off after smacking me in the rear with his Fullsize 70ish Chebby W/T) said I had about $500 worth too, and that they didn't write reports for that amount. I told him that if he didn't right a report, I was going to want his badge number so my insurance could contact him to verify there was an accident. He wrote the report quick.
Turns out to have been near $4000 in damages because they had to remove the bed. New bumper, fix where the bumper was shoved into the bed, fix the back of the cab where the bed hit it, match the paint, new bed mounts in the rear (broke). Frame was fine, as was the suspension. Hell, didn't even need an alignment. I drove it for a month before getting it fixed.
Did ya get the hot chick's phone number? Look at it this way, she's gonna be needing a ride now... hint hint?

These Dakotas are pretty sturdy, I rear ended a Ford F250 for labor day weekend ,bent up the right fender,slightly bent the bumper, hit at about 8 ro 9 mph, no airbags went off though, 4 grand in damage.

Looked up the chicks number last night, called her up! Turns out she lives only about 10 miles from my place, So I am suposed to pick her up and she wants to take me out to dinner for running into the back of me!
she is so hot and 18, and i am 19!
"Hmmm, so how sorry are you?, how about slideing those tight pants off so we can make use out of this big bench seat I have!"
