Hi! We JUST got our 98 Dak Club Cab 4x4 SLT ---TONITE! We've been trying different methods of setting our preset stations, (no owner's manual of course) but as of yet, have had no success.
Any help out there?
Thanks!!

You should be able to manually tune to the station you want - then press and hold the preset button that you want to program.

I have a 98 RC and setting the radio station is no problem. You should have a button marked set, right? Turn thr station selectoe knob or search for a station and when you find one you like, press the set button. You should see a set 1 or set 2 lite on the display. then just push a number button and that station is locked into that position. If you used set 1 you can use set 2 and program a nother station to the same button. To tuen in the stations, press the number button once to hear the first station, pressing it a second time will tune in the second station. Repeat this for all the buttons and you got it. Welcome to the wonderful world of Dak ownership. Since you foubd this web site, you might also want to check out the Dakota Mailing List at www.dakota-truck.net This is a email ring and you can pick up lots of good info from those folks. Good luck with your truck.

Actually, better go with Dakota39M's instructions. I'm pretty sure he's right.
