Message: What should the fuel pressure be for a 1993 3.9 V6 stock Dak ? I just had another fuel pump go bad and I'n thinking about just putting an aftermarket external fuel pump before the fuel filter on the frame .

Message: I don't know off hand but any aftermarket one designed for fuel injected engines will work, the fuel pressure regulator controls how much pressure goes to the injectors, everything else is shot back to the tank.
What is causing the pumps to go bad? I've never even had one go on me yet.

By the way, i think chrysler has a tsb about changing the tank with the pump if you blow another one.

Message: Actually on all most all truck it is easier to take the bed off then drop the tank. It's only 6 bolts.
