Message: I just received my Intense Performance Stage II w/ Powerstack filter. Hoping to install tonight if it stops raining here. It seemed to be the best priced and has a cermic coating to keep the heat down. I'll let you know how it goes.
You can check them out at www.intenseperformance.com

Message: I agree with 2K...the Intense Performance seems to be the best. I'm also going with this setup in the near future.

Message: i bought an Airaid intake bout the begining of summer. havnet raced at strip so dont have times to tell u if it helped, but in the cold weather i can feel it. i reminds me of how ur car runs when u 1st start it in the cold and it feels faster. but its like that all the time. i thought it was worth it. the only other performance mod i have is 40 series dleta flow flowmaster muffler. hope that helped.

Message: I installed the Intense Performance intake last night. Installation of the intake itself was a breeze. The pain in the ass part was the replacement bracket they provided for the cruise control module - I spent probably 20 mins. getting that changed out and after all was said and done I don't think it was necessary, maybe if I'd gotten the 9" filter instead of the 7"....
At any rate, I don't see any major difference immediately. I reset the PCM as well (don't know if that was really necessary) so I need to give it a few days. But I can tell the thing breathes easier and seems to have a little better mid range response.
I have a v8 TB on the way as well and will also be relocating my IAT to the intake tube within the next week(s). I don't want to throw it all on at once so I can see the differences as I make each change.
Overall, I'm a happy camper so far.

Message: I also have the Intense Performance with the 7" Big Mouth filter. And I agree that it isn't necessary to relocate the cruise control cable. The filter is very, very close to the cable, but it's not a problem.
How do I feel about the intake? It sounds better, but I really think you need to open things up at both ends. Upgrading the throttle body and exhaust, along with the air intake and other mods, will result in the kind of performance you can actually feel.
Regards,
David
