Message: There's a proven working Turbo that's on a 4.7L-- truck ran 12.55 recently-- I'm working on getting it pushed into production-- It'll be a tuner kit, and should be available for a 3.9L as well-- single turbo, simple design, real world peformance.

Message: most parts from the Gen III 3.9L sahould fit on the 3.9L in the Gen II's, except for intake piping and intercooler...those will have to be done just for the Gen II's (the 5.2L/5.9L kits are in the same boat)
R/T-2 now has an electronic boost controller installed... it is too cool....you can change the boost with just the touch of a button! more updates to come!
Later!

Message: Easy answer on the 4.7L "forced Induction" kits: There is a known problem with the 4.7L heads (and pistons) that causes premature engine failures if you push them close to the mechanical limit...4.7L turbo system is on hold until DC gets their act together and fixes the problem.
For those who are planning on building either a S/C or Turbo kit for the 4.7L...wait until DC fixes the head/valve problem and there are better pistons available. (If you don't know about it...ask your dealer how many heads they've replaced on engines with 30K+ miles on them.)
The 3.9L (Single) Turbo Kit will be air-air intercooled (with optional air-liquid) and will be in the range of about $5000-$6000. No set price is available yet.

Message: BTW: No "Tuner" kits will be offered as the average user doesn't know how to set Fuel/Timing maps. (And it's not a simple "i'll copy someone elses fuel/timing maps" either.) Our kits will be including the upgraded fuel system components required to match the fuel volume required with the turbocharger systems (also will be available for the supercharger systems as well).

Message: Alex, Rob, CW: There's a small issue with the valve seats on the 4.7L. They crack and can come apart. On naturally aspirated applications, it's not much of a problem (but does happen)...under boost, they can come apart (even with Nitrous).
I'm waiting on the results from the latest 4.7L head problems (at my local dealers) and will post them as well.
It's not the first set of heads for them either from a 4.7L.
