guys i have a flowmaster 2 chamber but before i put it on i want some input to see of people like the sound it makes compared to the v8... i dont want to install the muffler be pissed and then not be able to return it any input would be great I LOVE MY TRUCK

Can't help you with the flowmaster, but I just installed a gibson dual sport this weekend.
Sounds as much like a v8 as your going to get - never going to get rid of that v6 drone completely.

flowmaster has a good sounds but no V6 will ever sounds like a V8. People may think that they do but once you put a V8 next to a V6 there will be a big difference. I have a flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber and it has a Great sound when first started up but kinda looses it after it gets hot. It sounds descent at all times unless you start to get towards the 5000 rpm area and it the six cylinders start to stand out. Either way if you do put it on, be sure to put on a tail pipe and dont have it "dumped" because it is very annoying inside the cab.

i dont remember the p/n but it was the straight through racing bullit. Kinda looks like a very short glasspack.

dynomax super turbo muffler gives it that nice low rumble sounds great noticed a little extra pickup at passing speeds too.....good luck
