Message: alright i know that the swap of the v6 tb for the v8 tb is gonna give more power, but what kind of change in mpg have yall found after makin the swap?

Message: Even driving carefully milage will go down slightly. On my truck the milage dropped a lot and caused the rear tires to go bald faster!
Seriously though the bigger throttle body lets more air into the engine so to keep the a/f ratio at stochiometric, the computer needs to inject more fuel. It's not a big difference though, less then 1 mpg on the highway.

Message: I noticed about the same. Although jons preciple is correct, it should go down. Keep your foot out of it most the time, you wont notice.
