I was wondering if anyone who lives in cold climate has relocated thier IAT sensor. I live in Maine and it gets pretty cold in the winter. I did not know if relocating my IAT will have any affect on the engine in cold weather. Thank You for any info.

Theoretically it would make it slightly rich, however the computer compensates for it so you wouldn't notice anything. I haven't run with it relocated in the cold though so i can't say for sure. I know when i relocated i didn't have any noticable gain in performance and it idled rough so a put it back to the original spot and the idle smoothed out.

I had mine in the fender during last winter and it was a bit cold (it was anywhere from 28-38 degrees F). Felt really good in the HP department...sucked in the mileage department though.
