hi all
just making a post for the purpose of annoying all you lovely redneck dak owners as usual. unfortunatly ive run out of complaints so. ill just say some random stuff.
this week two people told me that my truck wasnt that slow. one said it had good pick up if u hit the gas in the 35-50 mph range. I say...no its f-ckin slow.

0-60 in 4.5 seconds(with an auto!!)faster then a 360 modena!!!(and a corvette)

how about the twin turbo viper venom... 0-60 in like 2.3 seconds... and there is the twin turbo 427 (i think) powered corvette that did 0-60 in 2.2 seconds.

yeah but those were heavily modified, much less luxurious cars and i think they ended up more expensive. u guys are telling me ud rather drive a viper or a corvette then an SL55 AMG?? i mean one thing for drag racing but I bet u could drive this car around all the tim eand be happy and comfortable unlike a viper which(from what I've heard)isnt the most pleasant daily driver. I mean if you want a faster car you can obviously get one but still...hehe

0-60 in 4.5 seconds, thats slow as F#%K., esp from a 5.4 supercharged. Now, my dream car, 4.6 supercharged 0-100 in 3.2-3.5 seconds

well how that is slow for anything is beyond me...but i see ur point. the f-cking car weighs as much as a 4x4 dakota(4000+) what the hell do u want from it?? most vipers are around that fast and they have 8.0l V10s(not the new one...its faster, but it is 8.3 litres) besides it is an automatic transmission and ITS A LUXURY CAR!!!

actually its cheaper than all those high power luxury european cars... i think that i read that it was $125,000 plus the cost of the car so that would keep it around $200,000. I am just wondering what is the luxury of a luxury car. How can that car be any more comfortable than say a cadillac escalade? how is it more luxurious? just wondering

I agree with you that a fast luxury car would be the ultimate car, but I wish you would stop causing problems on the board. I can't pay the $30 to join and I would really like the moderator to keep these boards open for the public.

its so much fun though. and i think the luxury would be in the gizmos and perhaps the seat comfort. escalades are tacky anyway. I'm not saying buy it as a race car. im saying if i were going after an expensive car i would want it. cause its like a ferrari that can actually drive like its a normal car. I personally would prefer a CL600 or CL55 those are roomy and fast.
I am here only for the purpose of causing problems and amusing myself at the expense of others. Its an internet forum...who really cares(obviously u guys since u cant seem to ignore me)

The lingenfelter vette did 0-60 in 1.9sec,0-100 in 4.3sec and the 1/4 mile in 9.24@150mph.(motortrend jun02)It has 802HP/866TQ out of a tt 427 with a 4spd auto on M/T ET Street slicks. You could have this "street car" for an est.$165,000 with a 2yr/24,000 mile warranty! He has an awesome video of it running 9.5 at the track on his site www.lingenfelter.com.
Hennessey also has videos of his twin turboed viper on his web site: www.hennesseymotorsports.com.
The Quickest street Viper in the world has to be the STRYKER. Their kit puts 880HP/1000FT-LBS. to the ground!! Thats 993HP/1142ft-lbs on the motor from their twin turbo kit. On their site www.supervipersystems.com they jokingly say "we suggest you keep in touch with your chiropractor as the seat will need to be removed from your back." In my mopar magazine they say it can push a viper into the 9's on the stock michelin's. "Go with a tubed chassis, 5spd jerico, dana 60 and that should be good for 7's!"
If you like something more exotic the best street car(legal in europe)is the Dauer 962 Le Mans. 0-60 in 2.6sec, five seconds later you have doubled your speed and a top speed of 250mph. It is a 2300lb. car powered by a 730hp@7400rpm twin turboed DOHC flat 6 with a tiptronic(button shift) 5spd.
Just give me a mopar 800ci IHRA mountain and my 6spd lenco and I'd be happy.

For me... would have to be the fastest damn Viper made, no substitute for cubic inches and Mopar knows that. Although, I dont care for the new Viper, I mean I like the #'s but there is a English roadster that has had that look for a long time now. It was ever imported so I guess Mopar can pass it here.
Ll, keep us entertained but please dont get like that other one so Mark wont have to shut it down for good.

well we may never be ridd of you but you will always be the loser who didn't do any research before buying your Dak and tried to make your 4x4 a race car.If you had done your reserch you would have relized you do not need 4x4 to go to the grocery store!! and if you needed the 4x4 you would have gotten an 8. hey wait a minute are you a soccer mom? go do some off roading and enjoy your dak and quit complaining about your purchase
