Does anybody know the average cost of a v8 throttle from a "you wrench it" style slavage yard? I'm helping my friend swap his this weekend and just wondering what it will cost. Thanks.

Go to www.car-parts.com and do a search for
it. Get some prices off of there then bring it to
you local junk yard, usually they will match it or
beat it. they range usually from $65 -$100.

There was a guy selling them on ebay (believe he may even be on this board) who was selling them for like $95 + $10 shipping.

About putting a V8 throttle body on my sluggish V6. Will I have to make any changes to the manifold for the Throttle body to fit right? Thanks

No, the V8 TB will bolt right up - just have to change the accelerator cable.

I got mine off of www.car-part.com (make sure there is NO "s" on "part"). Paid $55 shipped and came with all of the sensors.
