Subject: Anyone have a 94-96 Dak? IP: Logged
Message: I have a set of the stock chrome wheels for a 94 Dakota. This may sound stupid, but how do the center wheel cap covers stay on the wheel after the lugs are in? Anyone know?

Message: take a look at the lug nut holes on your center caps. If it's the type i think it is ,there will be at least 2 of the holes that are smaller than the rest. basically the lug nuts also hold the caps on... Gm uses this style of hub/center cap alot. otherwise ,im thinking of the wrong wheel style . hope this helps

Message: On my '96 2wd the center caps are held on by a spring steel ring inside the center cap, that grips around the lug nuts. I also have the stock chrome rims. Hope this helps.
