Message: i have a leak in one of my power steering pump hoses...i'm not exactly sure which one it is. i do know the leak is coming from the hose that has a nut on both ends! the other hose is welded directly to the pump it-self. could someone please tell me which hose is which, and where i could find one.
thanks, steve

Message: The return line should be a rubber hose with regular hose clamps on each end. The high pressure line will have either banjo fittings, or fittings like you would see on a brake line. 75% of the time is the high pressure one that leaks first, but i would change both at once while your in there, then you never have to worry about it again.

Message: Be sure it is not the pump itself, i thought my high pressure line was leaking but it was the pump. Just double check. Also, it will be easier to get the high pressure line off the pump if you take the pump mount off the block, and set the pump face down in the on one of the cross members underneath it. Trust me, if it has been on there a while, it is a bitch to take off.
PS: you dont need to take the pulley off to do this.
