Message: Hello...Speedtweaks lists the '96-'02 V6 silver ceramic headers on their site for $480, including shipping. Can you match or beat that price...at your price, that'd only leave $15 for shipping to 64012 zip code? If so, I'd be interested.

Message: economic compitition...I love it.
I emailed SSAutoChrome after seeing their headers on ebay for 369.00. I told them that they sell JBA's cheaper at truckperformance.com. He emailed me back with the offer to beat any competitor's price. I'm trying to get money together for them now but while I was at it I figured I'd give our fellow dak owners a chance to save money. So I a turned him on to this site. Sorry Bernd but I never got the membership pricing so I started to looking around for deals. The more vendors introduced here the better the deals and the more attention our dakotas will receive in aftermarket parts.

Message: Okay...this might be a mixed response - but how hard is it truly to install headers? I've done a bit of mix/moding here and there, but definately not a mechanical wiz.
I've been told it is a pure pain in the arse. If local people (southeast Michigan) could point out some places to have'em done at, I may be up for the buy!

Message: they arent hard to install... just time consuming. you'll want to save up all your swear words for that project too. the driver's side is very easy and takes no time at all because off all the room around the steering shaft... but the passenger side is another story. Its easy to unbolt at the head but getting it off of the y-pipe is a little bit harder because there isnt much room to get a wrench and a socket down there.
but if you can loosen nuts and bolts you can do it.
