Message: On the crower web site the guide plates, pushrods, and rocker stud are a seperate kit that they say is a must for over 5500 rpm useage. So it a depends on how much work are you going to do to your motor. I have read a lot of posts from guys with a good amount of mods that shift at rpm level below that. I would not get the rev kit right now and save your money, because the stock cpu will not let you rev that high anyway.
I would wait on getting the rev kit until after you get: a cold air intake, modifed cpu, throttle body, headers, ignition up grade and maybe modifed heads or a cam before get the rev kit. Why buy it if you don't need it?
