Message: I drove by a sporty minitruck (ill leave the make out) and i noticed that it had colored steelies instead of its stock wheels. I had the chance to talk to him at a long red light. He said that his his wheels dramatically improved his track times.
They also look pretty darn cool. My truck is lowered and I think something like this would add a custom touch (just can't think of a color that would go with bright metalic silver).
I currently have 16x8's (stock on 2001 sport models). Is there any real validity in this? would it be a good mod/custom accesory?
I could just do some moment of inertia calc's, but if someone is already doing this than give me a buzz, and if so what brand are you using?

Message: I found a website that sells kinda what i'm looking for, its just that they do not list the gross weights. This is so cool, i can just imagine my dak with those blue colored wheels.
