Does anybody know if anything changed (with the timing chain) on the 3.9 between 90-92, only because my father in-law gave me a timing set he had laying around for a 90 and my truck is a 92, and I was wondering if it would work.

Even if there was no change in em, do yourself a favor and buy a new chain and gear set.
I am assuming the set he gave you was used? if so there is a 50/50 chance its streched and worn both of which you wont know till you have your Dak down and feel the slop in the chain.
You can get a real decent set for 40-60 bucks, invest in it!

It was a brand new set that's why I was hoping to use it, but I just checked the part numbers and they are different for both years
