Subject: Relocate IAT to Aluminum Intake
IP: Logged

Message:
Ok, I received my 360 AirIntakez in the mail and I bought another IAT sensor from Dodge (for a 2002 Dakota sport). Now, I need to mount the IAT to the tube. Is there any specific spot on the tube....closer to the filter, closer to the TB Hat, anywhere? Since it's an aluminum intake tube, what is the best way to mount it? Drill a hole and screw it right in? What size hole? Is silicon necessary or will it hold without it? I just don't want the thing to pop out while driving.

Thanks for your help.
