How about a little more info please?
model year, f/t, p/t etc. there are 2 different part time systems depending on the year. (lever or knob)

my dak its a 98 3.9 4x4 stick.. automatic..
i have to put the stick in 4x4 low after i can go
in 4x4hi. but if i tryu directly from 2x4 to 4x4hi
whont go in ....
