Subject: O2 Sensors IP: Logged
Message: I have a 98 Dak V6, and when I bought it the truck had 65000km on it. I don't think the guy who had it before ever had it changed when he owned it. Going onto 80000 now, should I replace the O2 sensors and if so what kind of difference could I expect.

Message: if it is bad, you will notice a power differance. also it can cause the cat to go out.
if it is good, you will not notice anything.
autozone sells bosh, but i found out that the front sensor does not slip into the stock connector real good. the rear is cool
FYI the 1st o2 sensor is the most important one, so if you cant afford both (i dont like paying over 100 for sensors), get that one first
-Eric Injection is nice, but i'd rather be blown. 5.2L, 5speed. Powerdyne SC, 50mm TB, 2bbl M-1, 1.7RR's, MSD 6BTM, ciramic JBA headers, carsound cat, dumped gibson

Message: The Bosch web site recommends changing O2 sensors every 60K miles. I've got 70K+ on my 98 Dak v6 and I have not changed them yet. All is well on my truck as far as I know.
