i bought a gibson single swept exhaust for my 2000 dak a while back and i have a question about the size.
i know i could just go out and measure the pipe but someone has my truck for a week. anyways, what is the actual size of the exhaust tubing? i bought the thing at truckperformance.com and on their site it only says that its a "3-inch exhaust system." some people in this board say that the 3" refers to the diameter of the tip or tailpipe. the tubing is actually only 2.5" -- so what is it? 2.5 or 3? thanks everyone!

truckperformance.com sucks! do not buy anything from this site. their customer service sucks!

i also have a 2000 3.9 mine is 2 1/2" soo yours should be the same
