Message: Be careful with your buffer. I almost ruined my paint with one. I still have excessive swirl marks in my paint.
Make sure your paint surfaces are very clean (do not even have dust on the surface). Do not use a "lambs wool" type pad. Keep your pad clean. Keep your buffer moving. Do not buff wax after it is dry or hazey.(These were SOME of my mistakes !!!)

Message: Jeff, yeah be careful! Is it an orbital,(mushroom like, with two handle on either side) or buffer long pad on front with trigger button in single handle, peg handle on side. Orbital it low speed wont do much damage. Buffer if held on one spot too long will burn your paint. Keep it moving. And like Dakaty said keep it clean. Try a polish first, not a cleaner wax. Cleaner wax has more abraisives easier to screw paint. Good luck
