Message: i have the filter and i noticed a slight increase but not to much. im going to get rid of it and build my own intake which will give a much better result. you should look into doing this because it will only cost about $10 more than the filter and will give much more performance

I put a homebrew K&N filter on my 2002 CC V6 3.9L
and I noticed a BIG improvment. Much more power for passing and mid-range. IT cost me about $76 in parts but it was worth it. also a plus+ I got 2mpg more with it.
I have pictures up on my site.

Message: If you plan on keeping the truck, look into a hole new intake. If you see getting rid of it in the future, just do the K&N. Like the others said, the intake will get you quite a bit more power.
