Subject: Oil Leak in front of back wheels IP: Logged
Message: I just noticed that there seems to be an oil leak in front of the back wheels of my 1994 Dodge Dakota. What could it be?

Message: How far in front of the wheels? What does it look/smell like? Theres no oil back there, maybe either brake fluid or gas.

Message: About a foot in front of the wheels. I wondered if it could be brake fluid but it is dark like oil and just a small amount. Thanks for the response!

Message: Crawl underneath with a MAGLITE (God I love these!) and try to trace it back. It's -possible- that the leak is further up but is just running down the frame rail... but yeah, the only thing right there is the brake lines.
