 Subject: Engine Revving Probs

I have a 2001 QC 3.9l automatic. This is the third time this has happened. I start the truck and put in in D and the engine revs to about 2200-2500 rpm but I'm not going any faster that idle speed. It will do this a couple of times when I stop and then accel., any ideas.

Is it only form a cold start in the morning? Could be the fluid is draining out of the torque convertor, i would have them check it out under warrenty, although they will probably tell you there is no problem unless you can get it to do it for them.
