o and does anyone know of a site where it teaches you how to tint?

I've got my windows tinted Driver/Passenger 35%
Back window 10% *5%* is limo tint
As for brand im not quite sure ....
But you can always go to somewhere like Broco auto glass... and they usually contract someone out to do tinting. And if you want the driver/passenger side door windows tinited they will usually tell you that its illegal but they will do it for you anyways...

I spent about $125 ..... It was supposed to be about $150 but they liked me there and gave me a break.. oh ya thats in (Cdn) so about 5$ us.. hah.. Normally if you just want the back window done.. its around 75$

i just finished tinting my windows all by myself :) i went to kragens and picked up 2 rolls of 20% tint. everything cost less then 25 bucks. it took me about 2 hours to do the driver and passenger windows and also the back. it looks great and was really easy. you guys should try to tint yourself cuz our trucks are easy to do. this was my first tint job too. looks bad ass and i saved a hundred or so since i did it myself.

I have 20% on all windows except front... depending on where you live, too dark tint is illegal...

As a student of some law, I have to point out, there is NO specific law to govern tints in Canada. I know they use the preface: You have to be able to see thru the other side.
On paper there is nothing specific, but they can, and will continue to nail those w/ dark tint. It will help to know the cops in your neighbourhood, or be related to one.

Well ya, it might say that ... But it sure wont stop some dink of a cop giving you a ticket for tint... I got a warning... but that aint going to keep my tint off my windows.

5% right rround 4in band on winsshild 5%on bakc glass on stock 35%. backed into flat bed dented and broke tail light. cant see out windows at night. cost 90 bucks to tint.

THE LAW SUXS i had to get an inspection and had to tear off the driver and passenger window tent and also the front because it was below the Fu k
in A line and that stuff was as hard as hell to get off and also one day before that i was pulled over for speeding and the cop checked my windows and gave me a damn ticket so screw them.LATERS

black dak, where do you live? I have a '01 cc and am stationed here in Maryland. There is a company called, "Too Intense Windows", here and he does a really good job!! Since I have Florida plates, he tinted my driver/passenger-5%, back glass-5%, 2 side glasses-10% (over the stock tint) and a 5% strip across the windshield (WAY under the "legal" line)...and it looks pretty tight!!

Axium makes some good window tint. I put the 25% on my truck and it's not legal here in Wisconsin. I'm only allowed to have 50% here. You can get the Axium kit at some auto parts stores. I've even seen it at Walmart. Very nice. Also, if you want to learn how to tint your windows, I suggest that you check out www.tintdude.com I believe he also has the listing for current state tint laws.

Hmm..catonsville eh? Have ya ever seen a red 97 dakota running around with shaved tail lights? He lives up that way and is the pres of the club. he works right of rt 40 and lives by spaulding high school off of rt 3 business. Most of the club is actually based in bowie though. We are painting my truck saturday morning and will hopefully have it back together for saturday night. i have 15% on rear and 35% on sides. not dark enough for me...i'm going to get 15% all around on top what i have now....that should help! i think i paid around 85 for a regular cab. a friend has 2.5% (tested by PD) all around on his dak. It took three layers to get to that point but it looks great! can's see anything from the outside and everything inside is now dark...it is a bit tough to see at night when it's raining...but looks great!

hey! Does anyone know any tricks besides putting really illegal tint on a CC to get the cab dark. Mine's real dark now for the most part. I have 20% on all windows with a banner across the top of the windshield. I'll soon have that covered with black vinyl when I replace my cracked windshield. I also have my ext cab windows covered. I'd just like it so that you can't see who's driving from the front. I envy all of those car people who can get off with like 35% (legal here in IN) and you can't see anything in the car.

get a ford ranger and you will be much happier. Window tint is illegal in almost all states why get a tickets. Dodge guys yeah right
