Subject: A/C squeal IP: Logged
Message: For the last few weeks I've been getting a VERY noticable squeal from my Air Conditioning. It happens only when the AC is on. I've pretty much narrowed it down to the A/C unit or the pulley. But I'm not sure if it's the pulley or not. I have sprayed the front of the
A/C pulley with some WD-40 while running but no luck.
Anyone had this problem. It sounds like crap when I pull off and it's squealing til I let off the gas. it usually stops after a few minutes so I don't know. Sounds like a I have a loose belt while driving off.
thanks

Message: Ok good you analyzed the problem now either re-tension the belt or replace it. never use WD 40 to lube anything you love, it is a rust preventive/disolver not really designed to lube bearings.
