Sponsors are pretty hard to get, they won't just hand you parts and say have a nice day. You need to contact the companies and send them a resume and pics of the truck. They will also be looking for the following:

1) Your truck has to look good, they don't care how fast it goes if it doesn't look really tricked out, they are going to want you to get your truck printed in magazines so it has to be one of the best.

2) It has to be late model, they don't care about selling parts for 10 year old trucks, they want 2002 or 2003's that they can use to advertise there brand new parts.

3) If it's a performance part they may want feedback and you might have to pay for some dyno testing.

4) They usually look for people that live near the company headquarters so they can personally install the parts, and they may want to keep your truck for a few days while they do it.

I personnally have never tried to get sponsered but i know people who have been, if you can get multiple sponsors it's an easy way to build a top of the line truck, but it's a lot of work.

Yeah I have a 96' Dodge Dakota with only 47k 5-spd that roars like a 5.0 stang and I got her custom painted and added some parts but I'm not the richest person in the world and I don't mind not having my truck for a lil while since I am only 16. But the problem is I live in Lower Delaware and there isn't many places around to sponsor so I was wondering if there were any b/c I want to make my truck show material and if I can't find a sponsor I guess I can afford it myself. I'll get a pic on here of her asap.
