I adjusted my TPS and now my engine is revving up at about 1000 RPM. It usually idles at 300 RPM. It makes a big pop when I put it in gear. The voltage is at .74. But, I checked it again after I just got done driving it, and it was at 1.51 volts?? Does it change when the motor gets hot?

It shouldn't idle at 1000, or 300, it should be about 750-800. It could have easly got bumped, or spun during tightening

How do I reset the computer? I took the negative ground off the battery, but thats it. I reset it at .74 and it is idling normal now (600 rpm). I just don't know how long it will last.

Take the negative cable off the battery and put your key in the ignition. Turn the key to start and hold for about 20 seconds. That'll reset the computer.
