Message: I adjusted my TPS and now my engine is revving up at about 1000 RPM. It usually idles at 300 RPM. It makes a big pop when I put it in gear. The voltage is at .74. But, I checked it again after I just got done driving it, and it was at 1.51 volts?? Does it change when the motor gets hot?

Message: It shouldn't idle at 1000, or 300, it should be about 750-800. It could have easly got bumped, or spun during tightening

Message: How do I reset the computer? I took the negative ground off the battery, but thats it. I reset it at .74 and it is idling normal now (600 rpm). I just don't know how long it will last.

Message: Take the negative cable off the battery and put your key in the ignition. Turn the key to start and hold for about 20 seconds. That'll reset the computer.
