I have read many of the back posts regarding the questions I am about to ask. The only reason I ask these Q's is because there does not seem to be a clear true answer to anything.
My dak is a 2001 cc v6.
1) I have a Airraid intake. From what I gather from previous topics is that it is just an expensive filter. Since I already bought and installed it is there anything I can do to make it perform better? I have removed that rubber flap. I have JBA headers on, I think it may now be too hot in the engine compartment, and the intake is now just sucking hot air...any suggestions? I have already relocated the IAT.
2) I have the flowmaster 40 series delta. From reading old posts I can't tell if it gives power or robs power...I don't want to start a debate, just has anyone actually dynoed them? again, I have already bought/installed it and dont have mony to keep trying other mufflers (dynomax). any suggestions?
3) I got a v8 tb on it now. should I grind down the horns?
