Is it possible to get a laptop to use as scan tool for pre omdII models. If so where do I get software. I have 1995 Dakota with 127,000 miles starting to need some attention.

I'm not sure about software for a laptop, but I have an autoXray scan tool that does EVERTHING from like 1983 up through ODBII. I paid $350 for it. It works well and I've used it on lots of different trucks. Check AutoXrays web site for laptop software or the scan tool.
