Subject: Check Eng & ABS & Brake Light IP: Logged
Message: 1999 4X4...My ABS and Brake light came on about 5 months ago and speedometer didn't work between 0-25 mph, after reading the posts, figured it was just my rear sensor on the differential and just left it alone. Then last Monday, all of a sudden my automatic transmission continually sticks in first gear until about 3500 rpms and my check engine light comes on. So I decide it's time to change that rear sensor and sure enough that fixes all my problems but my check engine light. The code is still the same...P0720 "Low Output Spd Sensor RPM Above 15 mph". I have cleared it but it still comes back on. Any one else have this problem or can offer any suggestions?

Message: there are two sensors... one in the differential (the one you already replaced) and one in the rear drivers side of the tranny (in the tailshaft). Its even easier to replace than the other one.
