 Subject: anyone done the intake manifold runners

Has anyone here had Hughes do their intake for $350 I have been thinking about it because my friend game me one because his brother runs a junk yard so I have the hook-up. Bottom line is it worth it to get the 2000-4000 14" runner job or the 3000-5000 12" runner ?

whats the difference between the 12" and 14" runners? Which do you gain more power? And has any one done this to there truck yet (V6).Thanks

I have been looking at that option on my 5.2 for a while. I have found some people that had that manifold in the archives that like it.
As for shich one to get, it depends on if you want the top end power and get gears to give you the launching power. If you still want the mpg I would get the 14" and build up your motor for torquein the mid range.
I am still undecided, right now I'm thinking about a supercharger because my truck is too slow for me. I spend most of my time at 3/4 throttle and the supercharger would actually improve mpg for me.
