i finally had a good night racing over the weekend. i was blowin the doors off so many ricers, and i raced a chevy s-10 ss rc with an exaust and an intake and for about 5 lights straight i pulled away everytime. i also raced a completley stock cc R/T and it was pretty much dead even, depending on what speed we took off from. i kinda hung with a jetta 1.8t too, and not to mention about 50 other races. so this weekend was interesting, first time i really got to race since my new gears got put on

A V6 was dead even with an R/T?? What do you have on that V6?

My old V6 would have probly held with a stock R/T. But it was a gen2 and much lighter.

the throttle body was a great mod but everything added up didnt compare to the gear swap
i just raced a v-6 stang 5 speed and raped it on the way home from work today :) and i also raced a new nissan maxima and it was pretty even, i hear those thing are supposed to be fast.
bottom line is everyone needs a gear swap, now that will really wake up your sixers!
