 Subject: v6-v8 tb swap

ive read many posts that tell how good the v8 swap is but what does it exactly help...low end, top end, or both? my friend (who has a 5.2) is buying a performance tb so he will sell me his in the next couple of weeks. can i take a dremel and port out the v8tb and will this help? if so, how hard is it to do this and does it still have to stay in a perfect cirlce? thanks for all the great posts!

Do a search, there have been hundreds of posts on it in just the past month. For me i noticed the biggest difference in the top end.
