I bought a 2002 Dak QC 4x4 in Feb of this year. It is the "magnum" 3.9L SMPI V6 with a 4speed automatic transmission. The truck has no take off power, takes forever to get up to speed and sometimes fails to shift when it should (seems to want to stick in a gear). Is there anything that can be done to this truck to give it more take off/acceleration? I've heard of Cold air intakes, and Cat back exhausts and maybe a new computer pragram, but most of this stuff means very little to me (I'm no MotorHead....Yet!!). Can this stuff really help or should I start shopping for a new truck? If so what would you recommend and what's the price range? I would greatly appreciate any advice!!!

You should go back to the dealer and kick his @$$, 'cause that just ain't right. My Dakota is fairly stock, but runs pretty sweet.
