Subject: Resetting the PCM IP: Logged
Message: If I did some mods and want to reset the PCM, should I reset it when the engine is cold/hot? Does it matter? If I fill it with premium gas and reset it, will it set the timing ahead and ping on regular gas?

Message: It does not matter when you reset the PCM. When you reset it, it still takes about 50 miles for the PCM to learn new and compensate for new changes. Resetting your PCM will not affect the timing for premium or regular gas.
