Message: Anytime I stop, take off, hit dips I hear a Squeak in the rear of the truck. I have been told that it may be shocks or leaf springs or bushings. I don't know much about them except being able to identify them. Is there anyway I can tell what is causing the sound without replacing everything. Also I bought truck used and previous owner had a boat, so could backing the rear into water hurt anything. Please HELP!!! the noise is driving me insane!!!!!

Message: With squeaking in the back and the truck used for towing a boat, you might remove the lower shock mounts and apply some grease on the mountings and reassemble. Also raise the back of the truck by the frame and apply grease in between the spring sections.
