ok as some of you might know i made the mistake of buying thr poweraid tb spacer... i was wondering...say you bored it out like a flowmetrics and put it in, would the air go in faster, would it do nothing, what would happen??

The "key" to them was the spinning inside it. If it dont have that, it wont "work" so you would basically have less then you did before.

the only thing th tb spacer is good for is making a whistle sound ..... everybody always thinks i have a turbop or s/c on my truck .... i just let them think that

I knew a guy who used to pound on the bottom of his steering wheel when cruising so people would think he had a sub woofer in his stereo system. maybe you should try that too! :o just joking

that's a good one.
I worked with a guy that said he used to ride by the same kids everyday in his 5-speed probe. The kids thought he had hydraulics in it cuz he would start poppin the clutch when he went by. lol

the spacer resembles a sc/turbo sound but I doubt anyone with a brain would actually think that it was one.

Yea, Its to quite to sound like a SC. Mine did help with mpg a little. It would only wissle while the engine was working hard. If the engine didnt need to be working, and it was wissling, I would back off the gas. But crusing down the interstate at 90+ mph it would wissle alot, but then I was making it work too :D

we should file a class action suit against poweraid/airaid(evergreen or whatever) because they claimed it would add 5 to 8hp (says up to 14 on the box!!) and 13 lb/ft of torque. thats false advertising!!!
