If its the nitrous sytem I'm thinking of its pretty cool but WAY over priced.
Just get a Nitrous Express kit for half the price and you'll be happy.
Speedtweaks got em pretty cheap.

no the nitrous one is not what im thinking the one i am talking about is at truckperformance.com and it replaces the stock computer module it is a computer module supose to add 25% more hp and for automatics improve shift time which auto dodge tucks need at least mine does the tranny sucks

I talked to the guy at truck performance he told me that its not any better than a stage 2 chip. I thought about getting one. Im just going to a stage 2 chip instead.

is the stage 2 chip any cheaper than the venom 400? and 25%more hp is more than almost anything you buy besides a supercharger or turbo it would add about 40 more hp on a completely stock 3.9L dakota so in my mind it is worth it the venom is $349 how much is the stage 2?

just bought a stage II and a 180 t stat i think it was $255. that includes shipping! u have to run premium fuel thru u'r truck though!;( it's only $1.67 a gal where i live now. oh well i want some hp!!!

the thing i like about the venom is that you can turn it off and on that way you dont have to run the 92 octane gas and that way you still can get your normal gas milage when on it decreases it by about 3 miles a gallon

25% is not a very true figure... advancing the timing and changing the fuel curve doesn't add 40 horsepower. From what i have heard from buyers, the stage II is a lot better choice.

I am close to running it off to get hot tanked but the spacer has held me up.
I couldent get my 8 3/4 rear straightened out so I put the bed back on cause I was dying to test out the NX and other littl stuff.
So I'm out putting around and do a couplr of 50 shot runs down RT 1 and then I start noticing a rough idle, then the idle starts getting higher and higher so I take it back to the garage and start looking around for a vac line to have come off or something and nothing, all looks to be in order so I start it up and it idling @ about 1100 at this point so I pull out the old ether and start spraying it on the spacer I had made and sure enough the damn thing warped on me!!!
so I'm now back to square one with the shark nozzle, just like u I drilled it into the damn ram air tube (like that dontcha?).
So now Im going to do like we talked about, I'm splitting off the solenoids and puttin a shark in each side of the next intake as low as I can get em.
I"ll keep ya posted, Scott

I'm trying to not be dramatic about how nice the NX feels but DAMN!
I put the 50 in and it didnt really feel like a whole lot, I mean I could tell but it wasnt much different then I did 75 and thats where its really different.
I was going along at about 10 to 15mph and traffic pulled away so I had some room so I floored it and the trans kiked down and the NX hit and it literally spun my one tire to death
I havent felt a good spin from a roll like that since my Chally was on the road.
I cant wait to get my L/S rear figured out and in!!!
In closing let me say, NX is sooooooo worth the price for a V6er.
I am now ready for the Black Civic that had me for lunch at the track last fall!!!
Well, almost.
