Subject: tb question IP: Logged
Message: i am planning to make the v6 to v8 tb swap soon so i decided to look under the hood just to see what i was up against. i was able to disconnect everything except some hose coming out of the front. it was a black hose and i couldnt tell where it went to. i am curious as to what it is and how do i go about disconnecting it?

Sounds like the vacuum hose, about 1/2" in diameter ?
Should be able to twist it a little and pop right off.

If it's the little tiny black hose next to the sensor in the front of the TB leave it there. It is for the sensor and does not need to come off, unless you are swaping the sensor to the new TB.
