I installed the very first mod on my new Dak Sport RC...a B&M Supercooler...the model rated for 19K lbs. As big of pieces of crap that I hear everyone say that these auto trannies are, I figured the sooner that I could take steps to prolong its life, the better. I mounted it in front of the AC condenser. I didn't use any of the hardware that it came with except the 1/4" bolts and the hose. Instead, I fabricated my own brackets out of 1" and 3/4" aluminum strap, then painted them flat black so they wouldn't show up through the grille. Everything fit and went together just like it was a factory job, didn't even have to drill any holes in the truck, and the cooler is solid, hardly any wiggle at all, with a good 1/2" gap between the cooler and the condenser. I'm thinking of doing headers next, before the exhaust system rusts and seizes up. I'd really like to get the silver ceramic coated JBA's, but the price is pretty steep. Are they worth it? the jba's are good, what about those rr's, they sound worth it. i have the cheap jba's, they dont look to bad, but unless you have a show truck then i dont know why youd buy the expensive ones, they both work the same to

I'm also planning on doing the 1.7 rollers down the road a bit. DakotaDan says they really helped out his truck, and I just like the idea of the rollers vs. the friction of the stock rockers. I know that I'll probably lose some torque if I do headers first, but I want to get them on before the exhaust pieces fry into place. I like the looks of the stainless headers, but I don't like how they turn blue, and I've seen some people write that theirs have started to pit or rust in spots. No such apparent problems with the ceramic headers, and I hear that the ceramic coating also helps to keep the engine compartment a little cooler. Still, that extra $150 is a hard pill to swallow. I saw some ceramic BBK headers in the Summit catalog for a Mustang for only about $260...and that's for a V8! What's up with the ceramic V6 headers from JBA costing almost $500? Is it because they know that no one else builds them? Doesn't sound right to me. V6 headers can't be more expensive to manufacture than a V8's, unless it's because of a difference in the number of them that are sold...
