i dont know if anyone else out there got as frustrated as i did trying to find a decent air intake for my 3.9,
finally I found somthing that works and looks great. AutoZone now carries air intake tubes and performance filters for some imports.
A tube for a 2000 Honda Civic fits perfectly on the 3.9, just remove all the stock stuff and use the supplied rubber sleave to connect the tube to your air hat. you have to stretch it a little but it works. also I used the metal band and clamps from a 3 inch pvc coupling from Lowes to protect the rubber sleave from heat and it makes it look better too..
total cost for tube, filter and coupling approx $70 hope this helps someone out..
