well, i just got wrenchin' on my truck this morning and i got the supercharger and all its accessories off, throttle body, fuel rail, a/c compressor, alternator, alt.-a/c bracket, coolant lines, coil, and the intake manifold off in only an hour with only hand tools.... woo hoo!!!
...anywaz... i got the manifold off to do some cutting on it and when i got the valley pan off i realized that i must have gotten the manifold from the bottom of the barrel. A long time ago i had to get my intake replaced and i think the dealer found the worst one. Now i have heard that the plenum divider changes from year to year and month to month but i swear..... My divider goes only about 3/4 of an inch from the valley pan and same with the runners. When I took 5pnt9luv's stock intake off his didnt even really have one. So for the next week i am gonna be cutting a messaging that piece until it's as smooth as can be. It just seems like such a restriction to have to suck air in from that little opening!...
