I've been reading this forum for about a month,
(since i bought my first Dakota (00 CC V-6 Auto))
I think i've found a very useful websight for TB's and other items of interest.

I found a V-8 TB through them for $46.00 + $10.00 S/H. Put it in today, it was in very good shape with all sensors shipped with it as well. I received mine from SpaldingAuto.Com

all the v6's (ram n dakota) the same, 318/360 (ram n dakota) are the same supposibly, and then I belive the 4.7 has its own.

The 62 is actually very innocent, the year i was born (God, 40 years next week)
Glad the sight interested you, i got my TB from Spalding Auto, very nice people to work with,
Had it on for about 5 days now, just have to mod the TPS and i'll be good to go

I'm going to pick up my motor on the 20th, so until then I can't be definite about the TB. I will need the cable and sensors, but I already have a V8 TB on my truck now. I'll post when I get the motor.

I'm oversea's so it is going to be costly for you to call me. Let me know when a good time to reach you is, cuz I have a 6hr time difference from the east cost and more if you are in the west. I went to the car-part.com website and found a place a few hundred miles from here. I got it complete with all the sensors for $42, with free overnight shipping. Right now i have the air horns ground off and the top of the bores rounded off, i stripped it down and i am going to sandblast and polish it. When i'm done it will look like show polished aluminum (hopefully).

Hi Dale. Sorry for the delay, travel for work. I haven't got my V8TB back from the machinist yet, he machining off the flange extensions above the bores for me. I'll probably sell it for about$60, but it won't have the sensors in it cause that's the way I got it. Still interested let me know.

I believe the sensors off your V6 throttle body will fit right on to the V8 TB.
BTW, i picked up a TB gasket today at Autozone, only .99 cents for a Fel-pro gasket! I've got her sandblasted and polished, all i have to do is go to my friendly Dodge dealer and get the throttle cable.
