today my truck "broke" down on the way to work. i had a 1/4 tank of gas so i thought it wasnt the gas. someone told me the gauge could be messed up so i put some gas in it and it ran ok. i was wondering how i can get the gauge back to accuracy. any help?

Might be the fuel tank sending unit, mine be screwed up for 50,000 miles. Don't fell like droping the tank, and spending $75.00 for a sending unit. I put gas in every 200 miles.
