Message: First, I want to switch to synthetic engine oil, but how do I do a safe switch? I've been told to do one quart synthetic and 3 normal and increase a quart every oil change till its full synthetic. I've also been told to let all the oil drain out. RUn 2 quarts synthetic through and jusat let it run out of the drain. Then fill her up full with synthetic and it should be fine. ANybody help?
NExt thing... I bought the auto meter trans temp gauge and it says to put it in the oil pan thourgh a hole you drill. Is this alright or is it gonna leak? JUst drill a hole and screw the sensor in or what?
LAst ?... I bought the TCI shift kit and there are 2 ways you can go with it. EIther a heavy duty setup or the street one. THe street one just gives a more definitive shift and the heavy duty one it says is for trannies that are under a lotr of stress. I off road and I was wondering if it ewould be ok to go with the street one or would it be wiser to go with the heavy duty one?
Thanks,
Tony
