Subject: What kind of exhaust IP: Logged
Message: What kind of exhaust should i get for my 98 dak.
i want something as deep as i can get with a V6 but i don't want it to be super loud in the cab and i don't want it to sound like a ricer at the high rpm's. and about how much does it cost to have a single in dual out muffler put on and run the pipe. thanks for the help.

Message: The problem with the 40's are that they are louder in the cab. They also sound like a honda when they go over 3000 rpm's. Go for the Flowmaster Delta 50's. It has 3 chambers which provide a deeper tone and the cab noise is not too bad at all. They are loud enough to be heard when you want them to be, and they sound closer to a V8 than anything else I have heard on a V6. $70 for the muffler, and I paid about $200 for the installation with chrome tips. So I would say right around $270-$300.
