Subject: Flowmaster 50 series inlet diameter?

Ok, well based on your suggestions I am going to go with the Flowmaster Delta Flow 50 series for my truck. I am looking for something mainly that is going to give my truck some more bark, but not too overly annoying, seeing as this is the daily driver ;) For those with the muffler, how much louder than stock is it, btw?

Anyway, I was wondering what size inlet and outlet I should go with. Seeing as though our systems are 2 1/2 should I stick with the 2 1/2 or go with the 3"? If I go with the 3" will it make much of a sound difference considering the fact that I am still using the stock rear section?

Thanks in advance...

Jamie

if you are going to stick with the stock tailpipe, then stick with the 2 1/2" in/out...

Ok, here's the kicker. I am really looking for a muffler that is going to give me a decent gain in sound over stock. Now I've heard good and bad things about the 50 series Delta Flow. For those that have it, how's the sound, Honestly. Has anybody run the 50 Series SUV? Is it a noticeable sound over the stock system, as well? Oh yeah, I will be going 2.5" inlet. Thanks for the info Tom.

Jamie
