have a 2001 v6. Hear a tbbbsp tbbsp tbbsp noise all the time but its been louder lately.. i cant quite describe the noise exactly but that should be close lol =] anybody know what this could be off hand? is it the pinging that most daks always seem to have or something serious? im taking my truck in for tires on fri but i dont think they will have time to look at the enigne, should i try and make them anyways?

my truck does the same thing.....mine sounds like it comes from the passenger side. and i dont notice it till i get near walls on the passenger side b/c of my exhaust or radio.......i would like to know what it is...it started about 2 months ago.....some guy said it could be a heat shield thats cracked...but i dont think it is

mine has been doing it for awhile now.....i dont think its anything serious....just is a lil annoying and would like to know what it is.

Well the guy at my dealership said it was the solenoids... pain in the ass and they cant be silenced supposedly
