Message: with a stock 96 dakota, how far can i lift the front end with out worrying about binding and tearing up the cv drives? i would like to just lift it with replacing the stock shocks with bilstein 5100 that are 6 in longer, if you can help out, rckid25@juno.com, thanks, Steve

Message: Longer shocks will not lift the front end and will
be bottomed out and not work properly
There is a 3" lift kit avalible at a price of
$1500,
You need to change spindles and drop the front
pumkin assy and spacers in the rear.
The reason its so expensive is because of the
front independent suspention

Message: so, larry, what is the pumkin assembly? could you give me some more help? i wanna 6 in lift and prob a 4 link out back. could i make something to use the shocks i want? this is my first truck and im only 17 so i dont know a lot in this area so any help will be appreciated from anyone. thanks, Steve
